JaxReady Fest 2025 offers free event to strengthen community emergency preparedness

The JaxReady Fest 2025 is scheduled for April 25 and 26 at the Prime F. Osborn III Convention Center in Jacksonville, Florida. The event is free of charge and open to the public, offering various activities and learning opportunities for all ages.

The two-day event aims to equip attendees with the necessary skills and knowledge to handle emergencies. Activities will include live demonstrations, hands-on training, and interactive exhibits focused on disaster preparedness and emergency response.

Visitors can explore emergency vehicles, utility trucks, and response equipment, while also participating in workshops covering severe weather safety, home emergency planning, Narcan administration, among other topics. Furthermore, scavenger hunts and preparedness games will be part of the event, with giveaways available to participants.
