Today, Senator Rick Scott released an update on his efforts to tackle the United States' debt crisis and inflation issues. He also shared his Fall 2024 Economic Snapshot. According to Senator Scott, many constituents are struggling due to inflation, which he attributes to "Biden-Harris Price Hikes."

Last year, Scott started distributing a report in the Senate highlighting America's economic conditions. The report aims to start a dialogue in Congress on how members can address these challenges. It is published quarterly and highlights that since President Joe Biden and Vice President Kamala Harris took office, CPI inflation has increased by 20.5%, while PPI inflation rose by 20.0%.

Senator Rick Scott commented, “We can all feel the impact of the ongoing inflation crisis caused by the failed policies of the Biden-Harris administration, and the goal of this report is to bring in-depth attention to the fiscal cliff our nation is quickly approaching.” He added that “Biden-Harris Price Hikes are crushing hardworking American families."

Scott emphasized his commitment to fighting for future generations: "In Washington, it is my job to ensure we are fighting every day... It breaks my heart that families are having to make tough decisions and go without." He called for change in Washington so that "we can get families back on their feet."

Since joining the U.S. Senate, Scott has pushed for action against America's debt crisis and inflation's negative effects.
