Senator Rick Scott has strongly criticized the Biden administration for considering the possibility of supporting a Palestinian state in the wake of Hamas' brutal assault against Israel on October 7th. In a statement released today, Senator Scott condemned the move, citing the atrocities committed by Iran-backed Palestinian terrorists during the attack.

According to Senator Scott, the October 7th assault and the ongoing war in Israel have resulted in the deaths of over 1,200 innocent people, including at least 33 Americans. Additionally, hundreds of individuals, including Americans, have been taken hostage, and there has been a surge of more than 140 attacks against U.S. troops in the region.

Expressing his outrage, Senator Rick Scott stated, "Less than four months ago, Iran-backed Palestinian terrorists slaughtered more than 1,200 Israeli men, women, and children, and today President Biden wants to reward those terrorists with a country of their very own. These terrorists beheaded children and babies, raped girls, and burned innocent civilians alive. Biden's plan is like giving a gift to Osama bin Laden four months after 9/11."

Senator Scott speculated on the motivations behind the Biden administration's consideration of recognizing a Palestinian state. He suggested that it could be an attempt to appease the dangerous element within the political coalition that harbors hatred towards Israel. Alternatively, he proposed that it could be due to President Biden's declining mental condition, which he believes may blind him to the recklessness of his actions.

Regardless of the reasons, Senator Scott made it clear that he would insist on imposing restrictions in the upcoming government funding bills to prohibit any recognition of a Palestinian state. He emphasized, "America will not reward terror."

The senator's statement highlights the deep concerns and opposition to the Biden administration's potential policy shift towards recognizing a Palestinian state. The atrocities committed by Iran-backed Palestinian terrorists have left a lasting impact, and Senator Scott's words reflect the sentiment that America should not reward acts of terror.

As the debate over this issue continues, it remains to be seen how the Biden administration will respond to the criticism and whether any restrictions will be implemented to prevent the recognition of a Palestinian state.
