Today, Senator Rick Scott criticized President Biden for the prolonged captivity of innocent Americans, Israelis, and others who have been held hostage by Iran-backed Hamas terrorists in Gaza for 100 days. The October 7th attack by Hamas terrorists, supported by Iran, has resulted in the deaths of nearly 1,400 innocent people, including at least 33 Americans.

Senator Scott has been a staunch supporter of Israel's right to defend itself and has called for the destruction of Hamas. He demands that the Biden administration take immediate action to bring the American hostages home.

In a statement, Senator Scott expressed his frustration, saying, "It is unbelievable and infuriating that an American president has allowed U.S. citizens to be held hostage by savage Iran-backed Hamas terrorists for 100 days. These innocent Americans and others held hostage in Gaza should have been safely reunited with their families months ago."

He further criticized President Biden's handling of the situation, highlighting the administration's continued financial support to the Palestinian Authority, which in turn supports Hamas. Senator Scott emphasized that American tax dollars should not be used to aid terrorists.

To raise awareness about the plight of the hostages, Senator Scott has displayed a poster outside his office in Washington, featuring photos of the innocent individuals held captive. He vows to keep fighting until all the hostages are safely returned home.

Senator Scott also shared a video sent to him by an Israeli woman, showcasing the memorial created at the site of the Nova Music Festival massacre. This serves as a reminder of the brutal actions carried out by Hamas terrorists in their ongoing war with Israel.

In closing, Senator Scott urged President Biden to show strength and take swift action to secure the release of the hostages, stating, "These families have spent far too many days separated from their loved ones, and today marks a somber milestone. Enough is enough."

The situation remains dire as American citizens and others continue to endure captivity under the brutal grip of Hamas terrorists. The international community awaits a decisive response from the Biden administration to ensure the safe return of these innocent individuals.
