Animal Care and Protective Services (ACPS) will participate in the 2025 Worldwide "Shelter Slumber Pawty", an annual event aimed at inspiring community members to support local animal shelters creatively, including overnight stays at the facility.
ACPS is reaching out to Jacksonville's creators, influencers, and networkers to assist in promoting the fundraiser for the city's shelter animals. The event provides an opportunity for participants to use their social influence for good.
“Lifesaving is a community effort,” stated ACPS Chief Michael Bricker. “We're so excited to see how creative our community will get when they fundraise, spread the word, and promote our pets.”
The event is scheduled from 8 a.m. April 5 to 8 a.m. April 6, 2025, and will be held at Animal Care and Protective Services, located at 2020 Forest St., Jacksonville, Florida. While attendees do not need to be present for the entire duration, those under 18 must be accompanied by an adult.
More information and participation details can be found at www.ShelterSlumberPawty.com, or by contacting ACPSEvents@coj.net.
