Mark your calendars for the return of JaxReady Fest on April 25-26, 2025. The event will take place at the Prime Osborn Convention Center and is free to attend. This two-day festival aims to educate families and individuals on emergency preparedness through a variety of interactive exhibits, demonstrations, and workshops.

The event hours are set for Friday, April 25 from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m., and Saturday, April 26 from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. Attendees can expect free admission, parking, and giveaways throughout the event.

Participants will have the opportunity to learn essential preparedness skills through hands-on demonstrations and explore disaster preparedness with interactive exhibits. There will also be opportunities to engage with emergency vehicles, utility trucks, and response equipment.

Workshops covering topics such as severe weather safety, home emergency planning, and Narcan administration will be available at no cost. The event promises activities suitable for all ages including scavenger hunts and preparedness games.

Andre Ayoub, Chief of the Emergency Preparedness Division stated: “JaxReady Fest is more than just an event—it’s a fun and interactive way for families to learn how to prepare for emergencies together.” He added that thanks to their partner JEA, they aim to make preparedness engaging for everyone in the community.
