Bank of America's Property Donation team has generously donated a home in Jacksonville, FL to USA Homeownership Foundation, Inc. also known as VAREP. The donation aims to provide a 100% mortgage-free home to a deserving veteran in need. As part of the initiative, Bank of America will be collaborating with VAREP to host an event inviting the local community to participate in the donation process.

"We are assisting VAREP to find qualified applicants," stated the Bank of America Property Donation team. They added, "Each applicant will go through VAREP’s vetting process."

Veterans interested in applying for the mortgage-free home donation must meet specific criteria set forth by VAREP. Eligible applicants must be military personnel who can provide proof of service, honorably retired or separated from the military, not currently holding a mortgage, and able to demonstrate sufficient income to support living expenses, home maintenance, taxes, and insurance.

VAREP will continue accepting applications until the home is awarded, acknowledging that the recipient veteran may not currently reside in Jacksonville but have a connection to the area and a desire to relocate.

To submit interest or nominate a veteran for this opportunity, individuals can choose from three methods: calling or texting 951-444-7365, emailing tgriffin@varep.net, or visiting www.HouseAVet.net online.

This collaborative effort between Bank of America and VAREP exemplifies a commitment to supporting and giving back to military veterans in a meaningful and impactful way.
