If there’s no distinction between being here legally or illegally... then what’s the point of even having citizenship?" He criticized the blurring of lines between citizenship and non-citizenship.

Regarding President Biden's open border policy, Rubio warned of potential dangers, emphasizing the risk of terrorist organizations exploiting trafficking networks to enter the country. He stated, "It’s only a matter of time before something terrible happens... It’s logical that if you’re a terrorist, you’re trying to get into America in order to conduct an attack."

On the topic of Congress's efforts to separate TikTok from ByteDance, Rubio highlighted national security concerns, pointing out that ByteDance, being a Chinese company, is subject to Chinese laws that could compromise user data and the platform's algorithm. Rubio advocated for TikTok to be sold to a non-Chinese company to ensure data security and independence from foreign influence.
