Congressman John Rutherford is excited to announce the launch of the annual Congressional Art Competition for high school students residing in Florida's 5th Congressional District. The competition, established in 1982, provides an exceptional opportunity for young artists to showcase their talents and have their artwork displayed in the United States Capitol.

"We are thrilled to once again host the Congressional Art Competition, celebrating the artistic achievements of our talented youth in FL-05," said Congressman Rutherford.

The deadline for submissions is May 3, 2024, at 5:00 p.m. Entries must be delivered to Congressman Rutherford's district office in Jacksonville, FL. All submissions will be reviewed by a panel of local art professionals.

"We encourage all high school students with a passion for art to participate in this competition," added Congressman Rutherford. "This is an incredible opportunity to have your artwork displayed in the U.S. Capitol and to be recognized for your talent and creativity."
