Duval Charter School at Arlington issued the following announcement.
DCSA Families -
The 2nd 9 weeks, starting October 19th, is almost here! The first nine weeks will wrap up on Thursday, October 15th. With this in mind, it's time to sign up for the learning model choice for the 2nd 9 weeks. Below is the link to use when making that decision. We have also attached a QR code for your convenience. It's a quick, eight question survey. All questions must be answered in order to submit. We will offer all three models, again, for the 2nd 9 weeks. A few things to consider when making this choice:
any changes made from the first nine weeks choice will not take place until Monday, October 19th
you can move to the fully virtual model at any time, however, you can't move to an in person model once you have started the virtual model for the nine weeks
our hot spots are in and we will provide one, free of charge, to any fully virtually family that is in need. Once the child transitions back to the face to face model they will have to turn the hot spot back in. Please indicate in the survey if you need a hot spot
we anticipate having more students on campus for the 2nd 9 weeks. Therefore, it's extremely important to ensure students are following the mask expectation. They must have their mask on throughout the day unless the teacher has deemed it ok to remove. We follow the Duval County Code of Conduct - in that code are the progression steps for issues with masks. The 4th time a student violates this code, he/she will be moved to the fully virtual model
The survey will close on Wednesday, October 7th at noon. I appreciate the cooperation and patience you have shown over the first nine weeks. DCSA is on the rise, we are proud to serve your family.
