The City of Jacksonville Office of Sports and Entertainment has announced the lineup for the 2025 Jacksonville Jazz Festival. The festival, which is free to attend, will take place over Memorial Day Weekend at Tailgaters Parking to accommodate a larger audience.
The event kicks off on Thursday, May 22, with the Jacksonville Piano Competition presented by Yamaha at The Florida Theater. The main performances will occur from Friday, May 23, to Sunday, May 25.
On Friday, attendees can enjoy performances by Let's Ride Brass Band featuring Bella Kosal, Spyro Gyra, Maysa, and Kool & The Gang. Saturday's lineup includes Douglas Anderson School of the Arts Jazz Combo, the Piano Competition Winner, Tank and the Bangas, Trombone Shorty & Orleans Avenue, and Janelle Monáe with an encore performance. Sunday's schedule features UNF Jazz Ensemble I, Connie Han Trio, Branford Marsalis Quartet, Boney James, and The Roots.
