WASHINGTON, D.C.— In response to the April employment report released by the Bureau of Labor Statistics showing an increase in part-time employment, Senator Rick Scott issued a statement criticizing President Biden's economic policies. Scott emphasized the challenges faced by American families under the current administration's agenda.

"The continuous lies of President Biden about the American labor market are not only deceiving the American people but are dangerous. Americans are not better off with the failed 'Bidenomics' agenda. All Floridians I speak with confirm that truth. Full-time jobs have decreased over the year, while part-time jobs have increased by over a million. I do not believe this is a success. More people have multiple jobs and still struggle to get by due to the double impact of Biden's poor labor market and inflation, which has risen by over 19% since Biden took office. The sooner Biden admits his failures and changes course, the better. I am fighting every day to achieve this in the Senate, but Biden and the Democrats in Washington have made it clear through their actions that nothing will change until we have a new president who truly fights for American workers," stated Senator Rick Scott.

Since taking office in the United States Senate, Senator Scott has been advocating for addressing the U.S. debt crisis and the harmful effects of inflation. He has consistently pushed for measures to combat these economic challenges.
