U.S. Senator Marco Rubio (R-FL) recently appeared on the Eternal Word Television Network (EWTN) to discuss important issues concerning the pro-life movement and the safety of Catholic churches in the United States.

During the interview, Senator Rubio highlighted the need to change the narrative surrounding abortion, emphasizing that children should never be seen as a burden. He stated, "Unfortunately, a lot of the debate around abortion talks about children as a burden, as something terrible that’s going to ruin your life. Children should never be viewed as some sort of a burden."

Senator Rubio also addressed the stance of Democrats on abortion restrictions, pointing out their lack of support for any limitations. He noted, "[Democrats] are not in favor of [a ban at] 15 weeks. But if we moved it to 20, the Democrats wouldn’t support it either. If you moved it to 25, they wouldn’t support it. If you moved it to 30, they wouldn’t support it. They’re not in favor of any restrictions."

Turning his attention to the concerning trend of crimes against Catholic churches in the U.S., Senator Rubio expressed his dismay at the lack of accountability. He questioned, "They can’t find a single person or any of these people that were responsible for what is a pretty concerted effort to attack Catholic churches in America?" Rubio further highlighted the presence of anti-Christian violent extremists in the country and criticized the current administration and Justice Department for not prioritizing this issue.

The full interview with Senator Rubio on EWTN can be watched on YouTube for those interested in delving deeper into his perspectives on these critical matters.
