Census Bureau: 77.3% of people in Duval County were old enough to vote in 2021

Of the 983,153 citizens living in Duval County in 2021, 77.3% were old enough to vote, equating to 759,743 individuals, according to U.S. Census Bureau data obtained on Oct. 26.

Further breakdown reveals that of the voting-eligible population, 364,811 were male, constituting 48%, and 394,932 were female, making up 52%.

The percentage of citizens old enough to vote in Duval County during 2021 was lower than the state average, which stands at 80%.
