Edward Waters College Athletics issued the following announcement on Nov. 16.
Edward Waters women's basketball guard/forward La'Quanza Glover will have the distinction of receiving the first SIAC award bestowed on an EWU student-athlete in school
history as she has been selected as the SIAC Women's Basketball Player of the Week.
The 5'9 graduate student from Jacksonville, Florida and Jean Ribault Senior High School adds this award to an already stellar career in Purple & Orange.
Glover received this week's honors by picking up her 52nd career double-double and second of the season with a game high 22 points and 13 rebounds in the Lady Tigers 107-55
home win over Paine College last Saturday afternoon at the Adams-Jenkins Complex.
