City of Jacksonville issued the following announcement on Sept. 13.
Sections at a time of the rail trail will be repaired beginning in October.
Brian Burket, Waterfront Project Manager with the Natural and Marine Resources Division announced the Jacksonville-Baldwin Rail Trail will be repaved and shoulders repaired
beginning in October 2021. The project will be conducted a section at a time that will require temporary closures of specific areas. Information on closure areas and timeframes
will be posted at the trailheads.
The Jacksonville-Baldwin Rail Trail is located at 850 N. Center St., Jacksonville, FL 32234.
