University of North Florida issued the following announcement on Sept. 7.

The Florida Small Business Development Center at the University of North Florida (FSBDC at UNF) announces the launch of a new program, Beyond Business Hours Consulting.

The new Beyond Business Hours Consulting program will offer the same exceptional FSBDC at UNF services, but at times outside of normal business hours. The free consulting appointments begin at 6:30 a.m. and go until 8 p.m. during the week and from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. on the weekends.

“We are delighted to bring this new program to our 18-county service area,” said Nancy Boyle, program coordinator of FSBDC’s Beyond Business Hours Consulting program. “It will enable us to serve those clients who are unable to meet with a consultant during the normal business day.”

“The mission of Florida SBDC at UNF is to serve small businesses and entrepreneurs and this program provides them the flexibility to meet their needs at their convenience,” says Huston Pullen, FSBDC at UNF regional director. “The services that we offer at the FSBDC are now accessible in ways that they have never been before to those who can benefit greatly from our expert consultants’ assistance.”

Convenience is the key to this program. All appointments are virtual so there is no commuting to an appointment and people can meet at a time that works best for them. Consulting is available to new and existing businesses on the following topics: business startup, financial analysis, marketing and research, funding options, business planning, disaster preparedness and recovery, SEO and online presence, and more.

To meet with a FSBDC consultant, make an appointment.
