Jacksonville Mayor Donna Deegan has announced the launch of a new budget transparency dashboard ahead of the first town hall meeting. The FY24-25 Budget Transparency Dashboard aims to transform how residents interact with and comprehend the city's budgeting process. This interactive platform provides easy access to data on budget allocations and spending trends, allowing citizens to stay informed and participate in decisions affecting their community.

“This dashboard is more than a tool—it’s a commitment to letting the light in,” said Mayor Deegan. “We believe that when residents have access to clear and timely information, trust grows, collaboration strengthens, and accountability thrives.”

The initiative emphasizes citizen engagement through town halls, community workshops, and other means. Residents will have opportunities to express their views on budget priorities and provide insights into how the city can better meet their needs.
