Rubio's office organizes aid events for Hurricane Helene victims

U.S. Senator Marco Rubio’s office is organizing two events to support individuals impacted by Hurricane Helene in navigating FEMA assistance applications. The gatherings will also provide food, water, and other resources.

The first event is scheduled for Tuesday, October 8, from 10:00 AM to 4:00 PM at the Old Homosassa Civic Club located at 5530 S Mason Creek Rd, Homosassa, FL 34448. The second event will take place on Wednesday, October 9, during the same hours at the Gulf Harbor Civic Association situated at 4610 Floramar Terrace, New Port Richey, FL 34652.

Attendees seeking FEMA registration are advised to bring specific information with them. This includes the address of their damaged residence, names of household members, a description of disaster damages incurred, insurance details, Social Security Number, a contact telephone number or messaging option, a mailing address for correspondence, and bank details if they prefer direct deposit of disaster assistance funds.
