Open Scholars Project: Open Mapping and GIS

Florida State University recently issued the following announcement.

The Open Scholars Project is an informal forum to learn about and discuss developments in open access. This community of practice allows FSU researchers and scholars to share experiences with open publishing, open source code and open data across subject areas. It brings faculty, postdocs and graduate students from across disciplines together to implement open praxis in their research projects.
