University of North Florida issued the following announcement on Oct. 18.
Last month, UNF hosted “A Conversation on Afghanistan” to discuss the country’s current situation and how local groups are assisting in resettling refugees. The virtual panel
featured Fawzia Ahsan, UNF Master of Arts in International Affairs student; Laura Cook, Lutheran Social Services of Northeast Florida senior refugee services program manager;
and Richard Reiter, State Department fellow.
