U.S. Senator Marco Rubio appeared on Fox News Sunday with Shannon Bream to discuss various topics, including national security concerns involving Elon Musk, international affairs, and the filibuster.

Regarding Elon Musk's involvement in U.S. national security, Rubio stated, "Anybody who has contracts with the U.S. government undergoes a constant review for security background and clearances." He emphasized the importance of SpaceX for American space missions but refrained from commenting on Musk's alleged communications with Russian President Vladimir Putin.

Rubio expressed his views on Vladimir Putin, stating, "I am not a fan of Vladimir Putin. I think Vladimir Putin is an enemy of the United States." However, he acknowledged that future American presidents would need to engage with Russia due to its military capabilities.

On international affairs, Rubio linked current global instability to the U.S.'s withdrawal from Afghanistan. He remarked, "The world is in total chaos," attributing recent conflicts in Ukraine and the Middle East to perceived weaknesses in American leadership under President Biden and Vice President Harris.

He criticized Vice President Harris for focusing on issues unrelated to national security: "[Vice President Harris has] prioritized not the national security of our country."

Addressing a leak of U.S. intelligence regarding Israel's plans against Iran, Rubio described it as a "treasonous act" by someone within the U.S. government. He stressed the importance of identifying those responsible: "I hope they find who did this or the people who did this."

Finally, Rubio commented on Democrats' intentions regarding the filibuster: "If the Democrats keep the Senate, they will get rid of the filibuster." He warned that such actions could lead to significant legislative changes.
