U.S. Senator Marco Rubio recently visited Cedar Key to meet with residents and homeowners affected by Hurricane Helene. During his visit, he also engaged with members of the aquaculture industry to discuss the challenges posed by multiple hurricanes.

During his time in Cedar Key, Senator Rubio met with first responders and surveyed the damage inflicted on homes and businesses by Hurricane Helene. He also held discussions with members of the Florida National Guard.
In addition to these meetings, Senator Rubio was joined by U.S. Representative Kat Cammack in a session with the Cedar Key community and Florida Chief Financial Officer Patronis.
