In addition to the review of elementary classroom library books currently being conducted by Duval County Public Schools certified media specialists, the district is also forming a committee of representative stakeholders to reconsider library books and supplemental materials when reconsideration of those materials is requested by a student’s parent or guardian or a resident of Duval County.

If you are interested in participating in the district’s instructional materials review and reconsideration process, please complete the following applicant survey:

All submissions will receive an email confirming receipt by Thursday, February 23, 2023.

You can learn more about this process by reviewing our Media Services webpage.

If you have additional questions regarding the district review process, please contact Michelle DiBias, Supervisor of Instructional Materials and Media Services at DibiasM@duvalschools.org.
