Senator Rick Scott, representing Florida in the U.S. Senate, made several statements on his official X (formerly Twitter) account on November 16 and 17, 2025. His posts addressed media coverage of public figures, U.S. supply chains involving China, and a birthday greeting to a colleague.

On November 16, Scott criticized Variety magazine’s profile of two public figures and expressed concern over media representation. He stated: “This deranged person urged his followers to kill me — @Variety failed to mention that in its gushing profile.

The media’s obsession with rehabbing the image of socialists & terrorist-sympathizers like Piker & his pal Mamdani as “trendy” is disgusting.” (November 16, 2025).

Later that day, Scott commented on Tesla’s business decisions regarding international supply chains. He wrote: “This is the right move by @Tesla.

Communist China cannot be trusted, and the faster we get them out of our supply chains, the better!” (November 16, 2025).

On November 17, he posted a congratulatory message to Pam Bondi: “Happy birthday to my good friend, @AGPamBondi!

She’s doing an incredible job delivering justice for our country.” (November 17, 2025).

Senator Rick Scott has previously taken strong stances on issues related to national security and U.S.-China relations. He has consistently advocated for reducing reliance on Chinese manufacturing within American industries and has voiced concerns about potential threats posed by foreign influence in critical supply chains.

Pam Bondi is a former Attorney General of Florida who served from 2011 to 2019 and has been involved in various national legal matters since leaving office.
