Senator Rick Scott has recently used his social media platform to address a range of national and international issues, including government accountability, the ongoing conflict in Israel, and public safety concerns in Washington, D.C.

On August 10, 2025, Scott expressed support for President Biden’s call for transparency regarding congressional stock trading. He wrote, “.@POTUS is right. The American people deserve answers, which is why I asked for a GAO investigation of Nancy Pelosi’s trading history. We need the truth!”

Later that same day, Scott commented on the situation in Israel. He stated on August 10, 2025: “For 674 days, Hamas has terrorized Israel and held hostages in unimaginable conditions. These terrorists refuse to negotiate. They refuse ceasefire conditions. They do not play by our rules. Peace cannot exist until Hamas is destroyed and every hostage is home.”

On August 11, 2025, Scott addressed crime rates in Washington, D.C., thanking President Biden for recent actions: “The crime in our nation’s capital is out of control! Thank you, @POTUS, for taking action to Make D.C. Great Again and keep families safe.”

Senator Rick Scott represents Florida in the United States Senate and frequently uses his platform to comment on both domestic policy and foreign affairs.
