On August 14, 2025, Scott posted about the duration of the hostage situation, stating: “For 678 days, Hamas has tortured innocent hostages and committed unthinkable atrocities against them. We must save every hostage from this nightmare. Bring them all home now!”
The following day, August 15, he reiterated his stance with a new post: “For 679 days, Hamas terrorists have tortured innocent hostages and held them captive in underground tunnels. We cannot forget these hostages, their faces or their stories. We must stand with Israel and bring them all home!”
On August 16, Scott shifted focus to Florida’s economy: “Great to see Florida businesses growing thanks to President Trump’s work to cut taxes and support their success!”
