Senator Rick Scott, who represents Florida in the U.S. Senate, recently shared several updates and statements on his official Twitter account.

On August 8, 2025, Scott thanked attendees of a local event for prospective service academy students. In his post he wrote: “Thank you to everyone who stopped by today’s Panhandle Service Academy Day! It’s incredible to see so many young Floridians interested in attending a service academy and serving their country. https://t.co/6oHLCX5CVQ”

The following day, August 9, 2025, Scott extended birthday wishes to a fellow senator with the message: “Happy birthday, @RogerMarshallMD!”

Later that same day, Scott addressed the ongoing hostage crisis involving Hamas. He posted: “The world needs to wake up. For 673 days, Hamas terrorists have held innocent people hostage. Every concession only prolongs the hostages’ pain and empowers these terrorists. Thank you, @SecRubio, for standing by the hostages and Israel. The concessions must end, and we cannot https://t.co/QDv87EuP1b” This statement comes amid ongoing international discussions regarding negotiations with Hamas and continued calls from U.S. lawmakers for stronger action against terrorist groups.

Senator Rick Scott has been an active voice on issues related to national security and support for military families during his tenure in Congress.
