Rutherford succeeded Ander Crenshaw in Congress in 2017 and previously served in the Florida House of Representatives. Born in Omaha, Nebraska in 1952 and currently residing in Jacksonville, Rutherford graduated from Florida State University with a Bachelor of Science degree in 1974.
