Jacksonville graduate student guard Priscilla Williams has been named Atlantic Sun Player of the Week for the fourth time this season, marking her second consecutive week receiving the honor. Williams leads all players in the conference with the most Player of the Week awards this year and is also the first to earn back-to-back selections.
Her recent recognition follows a strong performance that helped Jacksonville secure its sixth and seventh straight victories. The Dolphins defeated Stetson 76-70 in a matchup between two of the league’s top five teams, then overcame North Florida 58-52.
Williams achieved double-doubles in both games last week, bringing her season total to ten—the highest in the conference. She has now recorded double-doubles in three consecutive games. In the game against Stetson, she tied for team-high honors with 16 points, collected 12 rebounds, contributed two assists, and blocked one shot. Against North Florida, Williams scored 13 points, grabbed 11 rebounds, handed out six assists, blocked three shots, and made three steals.
As of February 17th, Williams ranks second in scoring and first in rebounding within the ASUN Conference. She is also fourth in blocks, eleventh in assists, and seventeenth in steals—making her the only player ranked among the top twenty across all five major statistical categories.
The Dolphins are currently on a seven-game winning streak—their longest since 2018—and will attempt to match that year’s record of eight consecutive wins when they face Queens (NC) Royals on Thursday at 6:30 PM.
