Nick Oliveira appears in NCAA Division II baseball matchup for Cameron Aggies on Feb. 22

On Sunday, Feb. 22, at 1 p.m., Nick Oliveira, a former Duncan U. Fletcher High School standout, played for the Cameron Aggies, who were defeated 17-5 by the West Texas A&M Buffaloes in an NCAA Division II baseball contest.

Wilder Park served as the site of the game, which marked the team’s fourth meeting with the Buffaloes this season. In their previous matchup Saturday, Feb. 21, the Aggies fell 10-8.

Oliveira pitched 2.2 innings, giving up two earned runs and notching one strikeout.

The Aggies are set to face the Eastern New Mexico Greyhounds for their next contest at 6 p.m. Friday, Feb. 27, at McCord Field.
