On June 13, 2025, Rep. Rutherford expressed concerns regarding Iran’s activities on the global stage. He stated that “For years, Iran has sponsored terrorism and violence against Israel, the U.S., and the Free World.” He further commented on Iran’s nuclear weapons program as a threat to international security and referenced former President Trump’s dealings with Iran.
The following day, June 14, 2025, Rep. Rutherford commemorated the United States Army’s milestone anniversary by tweeting: “Wishing a very happy 250th birthday to the @USArmy!
