Hayes Earns ASUN Player of the Week

Jacksonville University women’s basketball redshirt sophomore KayKay Hayes was named ASUN Player of the Week for her performances against Warner University and Bethune-Cookman.  

In the victory over Warner University on November 23, Hayes finished with 28 points and 7 rebounds. Her performance tied her for third-most points in a single game in program history and second-most field goals in a single game. Hayes went 13-14 from the field. Four days later, she continued to show dominance to help the Dolphins win their third straight game in Swisher Gymnasium. She led the Dolphins with another double-double, scoring 21 points and grabbing10 rebounds.  

This marks her first ASUN Player of the Week award but her third ASUN award overall. Her last league honors was Freshman of the Week on December 14 2020.
