In-state tuition and fees were unchanged for 2018-19 at the University of North Florida, according to recent data from the U.S. Department of Education.

Florida residents paid $6,394 to attend the four-year public institution in both the 2017-18 and 2018-19 academic years.

Non-residents paid 225.3 percent more than residents this year, or $20,798. Their price tag was unchanged from $20,798 in 2017-18.

About 96 percent of the school’s undergraduate population are Florida residents. And about 3 percent are residents of other states.

Data shows 82 percent of full-time undergraduates who started school in 2015-16 received student financial aid in some form. In all, 1,545 students received grants or scholarships totaling $13.3 million and 768 students took out student loans totaling more than $4.7 million.

Including all undergraduates (16,776), 7,667 students used grants or scholarships totaling $52.5 million, and 4,913 students took out $31.2 million in federal student loans.
