Residential waste disposal customers may place their LIVE Christmas trees, wreaths, and garland curbside to be picked up on their yard waste day. Please be sure to remove all tinsel, ornaments, and tree bags.
Apartments, condos, and other commercial dumpster customers should contact Waste Management at 904-338-9700 x1 to make arrangements for the disposal of live Christmas trees, wreaths, and garland.
Due to the entanglement risk for nesting sea turtles and/or hatchlings and the concerns of chemicals/pesticides that may still be present on the trees, the Florida Department of Natural Resources prohibits the use of Christmas trees to build sand dunes.
Artificial Christmas trees are considered bulk items and should NOT be placed curbside on yard waste day or in a dumpster for disposal. Artificial trees should be placed curbside on your bulk day for collection.
