Animal Care and Protective Services (ACPS) will host a tailgate event with its mobile adoption bus, the ACPS Rover, before the Jacksonville Jaguars’ home game against the Los Angeles Chargers. The event will take place between Lots M and N at EverBank Stadium, starting at 10 a.m. on Sunday, November 16, 2025.

During this event, all adoption fees will be waived for those interested in adopting pets from ACPS. The initiative is part of ACPS’s ongoing “Clear the Cages” campaign throughout November, which aims to find foster or adoptive homes for 450 dogs. So far, ACPS has matched 160 dogs with new families.

The shelter itself will remain open during regular hours from noon to 7 p.m. on Sunday.

“All community members, interested adopters and fosters, and Jaguars fans” are encouraged to attend the tailgate event.
