Aaron Bean has served as Florida’s representative for the 4th congressional district since replacing John Rutherford in 2023 and previously held seats in both chambers of Florida’s state legislature from 2000 through 2022. Born in Fernandina Beach in 1967 and an alumnus of Jacksonville University (class of ’89), Bean has maintained active involvement in educational policy throughout his career.
