Aaron Bean, a member of the U.S. Congress representing Florida’s 4th district, has recently shared several updates on social media regarding significant legislative developments and economic progress. Bean, who succeeded John Rutherford in 2023, has been actively involved in shaping policies that impact his constituents and the nation.
On July 3, 2025, Aaron Bean expressed confidence in a new piece of legislation known as the One Big Beautiful Bill. He described it succinctly: “It’s simple. The One Big Beautiful Bill is promises made, promises kept.”
Later that day, he announced the passage of this bill through Congress. In his words: “It’s official: the One Big Beautiful Bill has PASSED! This landmark legislation delivers historic tax relief, powers up American energy, protects small businesses, and puts families first—just in time for Independence Day. Next stop: President Trump’s desk.” The bill is now awaiting further action from President Trump.
On July 4, 2025, Bean highlighted positive economic news with a tweet stating that “147,000 jobs created in June!” He attributed this success to strong leadership from both the President and House Republicans: “Thanks to the strong leadership of @POTUS and @HouseGOP, America’s labor market is bouncing back in full force—driving rapid recovery from the economic challenges of the past four years.”
Bean’s political career includes service in both chambers of Florida’s legislature before joining Congress. Born in Fernandina Beach in 1967 and an alumnus of Jacksonville University (BS ’89), he continues to reside there today.
