On the same day, he noted in another tweet that “Northeast Florida residents are ready for relief” and expressed optimism about the bill’s potential impact on his community. According to Bean, real change is imminent for Northeast Florida.

Further elaborating on his support for American workers, Bean stated in a subsequent tweet on July 3, 2025, “I’m proud to stand strong for the American worker with the One Big Beautiful Bill!” He highlighted job security and opportunity as core elements of this legislative effort by the House GOP.

Bean has been an active political figure since his tenure in the Florida House of Representatives from 2000 to 2008 and later in the Florida Senate from 2012 to 2022. Born in Fernandina Beach, Florida, he continues to reside there while representing his constituents at a national level.
