Aaron Bean, a member of the U.S. Congress representing Florida’s 4th district, has shared updates on a legislative initiative known as “The One Big Beautiful Bill.” Bean, who took office in 2023 after serving in both the Florida House of Representatives and Senate, detailed various aspects of the bill through a series of tweets.
On June 18, 2025, Aaron Bean stated that “The One Big Beautiful Bill reverses the spending curse plaguing Washington, D.C. It delivers the largest deficit reduction in nearly 30 years, with $1.6 trillion in mandatory savings — the largest single reduction in mandatory spending in our country’s history.” This announcement highlights significant fiscal measures aimed at reducing government expenditure.
Later that day, Bean emphasized tax relief measures included in the bill. He noted that “The One Big Beautiful Bill delivers NO TAX ON TIPS and NO TAX ON OVERTIME.” According to Bean, these provisions fulfill campaign promises made by former President Trump and are designed to benefit American workers by increasing their take-home pay.
In another update posted on June 19, 2025, Bean highlighted benefits for older citizens by stating that “The One Big Beautiful Bill provides historic tax cuts for seniors.” This measure aims to alleviate financial burdens on senior citizens through reduced taxation.
Aaron Bean was born in Fernandina Beach, Florida in 1967 and currently resides there. He graduated from Jacksonville University with a Bachelor of Science degree in 1989.
