Aaron Bean, U.S. Congressman representing Florida’s 4th district, has used his social media platform to address recent issues concerning both international events and domestic policy. In a series of posts on October 7 and 8, 2025, Bean commented on the anniversary of the Hamas attack on Israel and advocated for legislative action to protect air traffic controllers during government shutdowns.

Bean, who began representing Florida’s 4th congressional district in 2023 after serving in both the Florida House of Representatives and the Florida Senate, has made aviation safety and support for essential workers a key legislative focus. He was born in Fernandina Beach, Florida in 1967 and graduated from Jacksonville University in 1989 with a BS. His background includes more than two decades of public service at the state and federal levels.
