Aaron Bean, U.S. Congressman representing Florida’s 4th district, recently shared a series of posts on his official X (formerly Twitter) account highlighting legislative initiatives and moments with fellow lawmakers.
On February 17, 2026, Bean posted about a gesture from a colleague: “Now that’s how you celebrate Louisiana style. Thank you, @SteveScalise, for the King Cake. Let the good times roll!”
The following day, on February 18, 2026, Bean expressed support for new Senate legislation related to Medicare: “Great to see @SenatorTimScott introduce the Senate companion to the Apples to Apples Comparison Act—building on the work @repkevinhern and I led in the House. This bill will require a fair, apples-to-apples comparison of the annual cost analysis of Medicare Advantage and”
On February 19, 2026, Bean referenced tax policy efforts by House Republicans: “What’s behind the big jump? The @HouseGOP’s WORKING FAMILIES TAX CUT.”
Bean has represented Florida’s 4th District in Congress since replacing John Rutherford in 2023. He previously served in both chambers of Florida’s state legislature and is originally from Fernandina Beach, Florida. Bean graduated from Jacksonville University with a Bachelor of Science degree in 1989.
