Aaron Bean, a member of the U.S. Congress representing Florida’s 4th district, recently shared several updates on social media regarding a legislative proposal known as “The One Big Beautiful Bill.” This bill is said to have significant implications for tax policy in the United States.

On June 18, 2025, Aaron Bean posted that “The One Big Beautiful Bill delivers the largest tax cut in American history. This means an extra $5,000 in Americans’ pockets with a DOUBLE-DIGIT percent DECREASE to their tax bills.” He noted that individuals earning between $30,000 and $80,000 would see approximately a 15% reduction in their taxes.

Later that day, Bean highlighted another aspect of the bill by stating that “The One Big Beautiful Bill raises Americans’ take-home pay by as much as $13,300 and wages by as much as $11,600.” This suggests a substantial increase in disposable income for many Americans if the bill is enacted.

In a subsequent post on June 18, Bean emphasized the importance of making existing tax cuts permanent. He warned that “The One Big Beautiful Bill makes the Trump Tax Cuts permanent, preventing the largest tax increase ever.” He cautioned that failure to pass this legislation could result in what he described as “the largest tax increase in history.”

Aaron Bean has been serving Florida’s 4th District since 2023 after succeeding John Rutherford. Prior to his current role, he served in both the Florida House of Representatives and Senate over two decades. Born and residing in Fernandina Beach, Florida, Bean holds a degree from Jacksonville University.
